The Aims and Objectives of the Bombay Humanitarian League

Our Objectives: Protection To Animals, Education for Vegetarian Lifestyle, Discontinue Cruel Ceremonies and Humane Welfare
 
Protection To Animals

To give "ABHAY" to animals, birds and marine life. ("ABHAY" means protected, unharmed from humans and "marine life" considers mainly fish)

 
Education for Vegetarian Lifestyle

To educate man for Vegetarian lifestyle to stop animal slaughter. (To Provoke opinion in favor of vegetarian living. )

 
 
Discontinue Cruel Ceremonies

To discontinue cruel ceremonies by creating mass opinion & forcing the authority to stop slaughtery.

 
Humane Welfare

To take up strictly non-political issues of Humane Welfare.

 

To achieve these objects, the league has ever since its inception concentrated its efforts to rescue and rehabilitate the impaired animals by giving them ABHAY.

This is the best humanity in all religions. The KARMAFAL of ABHAYDAN is everlasting.

At present the trust is managed by well known elite and worthy President Shri Pranlalbhai Sheth R. Vekriwalla, Honorable secretaries Shri Yogeshbhai A. Jhaveri and Shri Bharatbhai A. Virani. The trust activity is widely spread in Bombay and Gujarat under the well experienced and worthy guidance of the president and its team.

The Ahmedabad office of the trust is well organised and efficiently managed by learned & experienced trustee Shri Sanjay Bharatbhai Kothary.
